The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing data
and methods to predict and improve a company’s delivery of products and
services to its customers. This role will report functionally into the Supply
Chain manager South and be part of the Operations team.
- Establish collaborative and
constructive internal and external relationships to drive success and growth;
- Create processes and methods to
gather supply chain data (Monitor and collect data on current operations,
including customers orderbook, inbounds, outbounds, warehousing, production,
and delivery);
- Analyze data to identify
problematic areas and suggest improvements;
- Plan and implement supply chain
optimization projects;
- Investigate pain points within
the process and develop solutions to resolve conflicts and inefficiencies;
- Develop requirements and
standards (products packaging, FG masterdata);
- Communicate with other
departments within the organization to identify efficiency issues, develop
solutions, and implement changes;
- Create performance reports for
management to review;
- Collaborate with IT
professionals to implement effective systems;
- Track KPIs and report on supply
chain’s performance.
- Degree in engineering,
logistics/SCM, business administration preferred;
- 2+ years of relevant experience
in supply chain, operations management, or related discipline;
- Demonstrated knowledge and
understanding of interdependencies of overall supply chain; Prior project
management experience;
- Broad range of computer skills—database,
spreadsheet, statistics applications, and logistics software packages such as
Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP;
- Experience in data mining,
analysis and reporting;
- Ability to challenge factually
and work under pressure;
- Excellent critical thinking,
analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature
judgment;
- Experience in process
improvement efforts and/or value stream analysis;
