Description
To develop purchasing strategies and lead the purchasing team in their daily activities while also ensuring that the business can
effectively source raw materials, manufacture products, store inventory and transport shipments to our clients.
The Purchasing Manager develops purchasing strategies and oversees the purchasing team in their daily activities of sourcing suppliers and purchasing
products, equipment, and services. In addition, for the supply chain, the Manager is responsible for ensuring a business can efficiently source raw
materials, manufacture products, store inventory and transport shipments to our clients.
Requirements
- University Degree (pref Business Admin or Engineering).
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Purchasing Manager role.
- Minimum 3 years experience in the packaging market.
- Minimum 5 years extensive experience in people management.
- Proven experience in a relevant role.
- English (Proficiency level a second European Language will be a plus)
- Proven experience in developing products in the packaging business.
- Strong negotiation skills and resilience in a changing and international environment.
- Effective and proven management and coordination skills and experience of minimum 5 years.
- Effective teamwork, communication & influencing skills.
- P&L management experience.
